What a month.

This past weekend, my oldest daughter, McKenzie, got married. Watching her begin this next chapter with her new husband was one of those moments you simply take in and appreciate. Congratulations to McKenzie and Tyrus. We couldn’t be happier for them.

I also had the chance to take a couple of clients to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals. A big thank-you to DraftKings and Fanatics for making it happen. It was one of those experiences you don’t forget.

And one more update I’m excited to share:

My son Kane just passed his Series 65. He’s already locked in on his CFP exam in November, and he is not slowing down.

He wants to change people’s lives through financial planning and carry on what we’ve built. I’ll be honest, the kid is ready to take over the world. I couldn’t be more proud of him.

More to come. Stay tuned.

A Look Across the Market

Key Takeaways from Q2 2026

Here’s a quick snapshot of how markets moved recently:

  • Stocks Just Posted Their Best Quarter Since 2020. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 both had standout performance, and what made this quarter different is that the gains weren’t just coming from a handful of big tech names. Small-cap and value stocks joined the run. That’s a healthier, broader market.
  • AI infrastructure spending kept semiconductor stocks moving. The investment being poured into artificial intelligence right now is real, and the market is reflecting that.
  • The Fed stayed patient. Inflation is still on their radar, and that’s keeping rate cut expectations in check. Nothing surprising there, just something worth staying aware of as you think about your plan.
  • Oil prices came down as some of the geopolitical tension eased. That’s a positive for inflation, and something we’ll continue to watch.

The bottom line: it was a strong quarter. That doesn’t mean you put your plan on autopilot. It means you make sure your portfolio reflects where you are today, not where you were a year ago.

Built by People Who Keep Building

I’ve always gravitated toward self-made people because I understand what it takes to build something from the ground up.

Business owners, professionals, and families who have worked hard to create real momentum usually aren’t looking for a sales pitch. They want someone who will sit down, understand what they’ve built, and help them figure out how to protect it, grow it, and keep moving forward.
