Joe Harrish still adheres to the core values he first embraced in the Air Force at age 19—Integrity, Service Before Self and Excellence In All We Do. From self-described “humble beginnings,” Joe has spent his entire life building meaningful relationships in the military and civilian community. He spent 22 highly-decorated years in active-duty in the Air Force where he won numerous awards at every level. One of his biggest accomplishments was being named the Air Force’s Company Grade Officer of the Year for his entire career field.

During the final decade of his military career, he knew he had a higher calling. He entered the financial services industry while he was still on active-duty, and he has spent two decades helping others change their financial futures. Now part of the team at Prime Capital Investment Advisors (PCIA), he is a fee-based financial advisor and fiduciary working with high net-worth individuals, upper management executives, medical professionals and business owners.

Joe has a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and holds a Series 65 registration.

He understands that he functions as a trusted coach to clients. “Investing is an emotional decision, and you need to be able to work with someone you trust and one that puts your best interests first. As a fiduciary, I am responsible to put your personal interests first at all times,” he says.

Joe started his career in financial services at Ozark National Life and N.I.S Financial Services, helping individual clients with their investment and insurance needs. After seven years, he was promoted to Vice President and Agency Director, traveling across the U.S. conducting investment seminars and helping people with their financial plans, while being involved with the business operations of both companies. After eight years of managing 200+ registered representatives and two businesses, he felt that he had established an ideal foundation for starting his career as a financial advisor, and he joined Prime Capital Investment Advisors.

Joe is passionate about his work and feels his childhood has a lot to do with that. He says, “My German immigrant mother instilled in me not to make excuses. Just because I had it rough doesn’t mean you have to; you have all the opportunities that America provides.” Joe is happily married to his lovely wife Angie, and they have three children, McKenzie, Arissa and Kane. Away from the business, he enjoys any sporting event and spending time with his family.

Joe finds personal enjoyment in spending non-traditional time with his clients. When he’s not in the office, he can be found playing golf, socializing or enjoying car events.
